Concept spot for an invented brand

CANNONBALL, “Jump in.”

Every drink ad shows the sip. Nobody shows the feeling of the first two seconds: the crack, the rush, the hit. So we stretched them into a ride.

Concept spot for an invented sparkling lime yerba mate · a product launch told as a ride

01The value and the idea

The first two seconds, stretched into a ride.

The brief we set ourselves: a flavour-launch spot that people want to share, built social-first for 9:16, with the look of a big 3D production and none of the studio timeline. The best part of a cold can is the first two seconds: the crack, the rush, the hit. Every drink ad shows the sip. Nobody shows that feeling.

The idea is that the can is a ride. A hand flicks it open, and the camera falls through the opening into the flavour: a fizzing lime river, sliced-lime walls, ice cliffs, a yerba-leaf tunnel and five golden rings that land on the beat. Then it bursts back out into rooftop sun, with the can in hand.

Jump in.

Who buys this. Beverage and D2C food brands launching a flavour, a limited drop or a new SKU, and agencies that need a social-first launch spot without a 3D studio budget.

What it proves. A launch can be sold as an experience, not a feature list, and a first-person ride holds attention to the end card.

The system. One flavour is one palette. The ride is built so the next flavour is a re-skin, not a re-shoot. Two more flavour palettes, Blood Orange and Blue Guava, already exist to prove it, so a launch becomes a flavour-drop pack: the same ride, a new world for every drop.

The pair. Two product launches, two looks: a stylised 3D drink ride and a graphic animated tech spot. Same method: the feeling first, the product as the payoff. See DROP, the tech launch.

02Frames

The crack, the fall, the ride.

One camera path from the first crack to the end card. The cut hides inside the opening of the can, so the fall reads as a single move.

  • A thumb pulls the tab on a lime can covered in condensation, with a rooftop and blue sky behind it.
    01The crack, 1.4 s
  • Inside the can: a fizzing lime river runs between ice cliffs and green leaves, with a golden ring ahead.
    02The ride, 6.2 s
  • The end card: the CANNONBALL wordmark and the line Jump in. above a hand holding a plain lime can against a blue sky and a rooftop.
    03The end card, 14.2 s
  • One crack and you’re in.

03What this could do for your business

Launch the flavour, not a feature list.

Built for

  • Beverage and D2C food brands launching a flavour, a limited drop or a new SKU
  • Agencies that need a social-first launch spot without a 3D studio budget
  • Marketing teams that want a launch-day teaser and a retail screen cut from one master

The business case, in six lines

1The problem it solves
A flavour launch needs a premium, shareable spot fast, without a 3D studio timeline.
2What was delivered
A 15 second vertical spot, 1080 by 1920 at 30 fps, sound on. One camera path: the crack, the fall in, the ride, the burst out to the end card. Original music made for the film.
3What it costs, in shape
Quoted in USD before we start. Turnaround: days, not weeks.Industry benchmark, not a promise or a quote: animated product demos of 15 to 30 seconds run about $700 to $2,200, 3D product visualisation about $1,000 to $3,000, and a 30 second 3D animated ad from $3,500. Vendor price guides, 2025 to 2026.
4Where it earns
Reels and short-form feeds (paid and organic), a launch-day teaser, retail and event screens, a 6 second bumper cut from the same master, and the flavour-drop series.
5Proof of craft
One continuous ride, with the cut hidden inside the can’s opening. Every object on the ride comes from the flavour (lime, ice, yerba leaf), not from a generic candy land. Five boost rings land on the music’s bar lines. The condensation running down the can shows it's real.
6What to measure
Hook rate (3-second plays over impressions), hold to the end card and saves, per cut, in your own ad account.Industry benchmark, not a promise: on Reels a hook rate of about 30% is a typical middle. There are no results of ours for this study yet.

Three plays

  1. The launch spot

The 15 second ride runs paid and organic from launch day: the crack, the fall in, the ride and the burst out to the end card.

OutcomeKnown in the feed at a glance

  2. The flavour-drop pack

The same ride with a new world for every flavour. Two more palettes, Blood Orange and Blue Guava, are already designed, so a new flavour is a re-skin.

    OutcomeA new flavour is a re-skin, not a re-shoot

  3. A 6 s bumper for paid

The crack and the fall, cut as a 6 second bumper from the same master for paid placements.

    OutcomeEvery placement from one master

Starts withThe Cinematic Product Ad, in an animated look: a 15 second vertical launch spot with its end card and a 6 second bumper from the same master. Quoted in USD before we start.

CANNONBALL is an invented brand, not a drink for sale. This is a concept spot, not a client project.

04Craft and handover

Planned frame by frame, then made.

How it’s made. Planned frame by frame in 3D previz, generated with AI video models chosen per shot, then cut to the beat, graded and sound-designed by our team.

Format

1080×1920 vertical at 30 fps, sound on, with original music made for the film. No text on the frame except the end card.

Rules

  • Previz you can sign. The ride is planned in 3D first, so your team approves something it can see before anything is generated.
  • One palette per flavour. The look is locked to the flavour, so the next drop is a re-skin.
  • AI disclosure in the post, never on the frame. The platform label is switched on at upload.

You get

  • The spot, 15 s, with your end card
  • A 6 s bumper cut from the same master
  • Key stills for covers and thumbnails

The caption we post

“One crack and you’re in. 🧊🍋 CANNONBALL, a sparkling yerba concept spot.” The post carries the AI disclosure in its caption and the platform label.
