01The first questions

Five questions couples ask before they write.

Couples, and the assistants they ask, want these answered first.

Read the detail

Here is what your site should say, and what we found on the venue sites we audited.

  1. 01What does it cost?
    What your site should say

A price range and what it includes, on your own site, in your words.

In our audit: about 7 in 10 venue sites showed no price. The price lived on a marketplace listing instead.

  2. 02Will our guest count fit?
    What your site should say

Seated and standing capacity for each space, written for a couple to read and as data an assistant can quote.

  3. 03Is our date free?
    What your site should say

A date check connected to your calendar where your software allows it; otherwise your open months and a request form.

In our audit: about 9 in 10 gave a couple no way to check a date or book a tour online.

  4. 04What's included?
    What your site should say

Each package listed plainly: the spaces, the hours, what comes with it and what couples arrange themselves.

  5. 05Can we come and see it?
    What your site should say

A tour booked in two taps, at the times you choose.

Same audit: part of the 9 in 10 with no online date check or tour booking.

02What we've measured

Venues look fine, but can't be booked by question.

The audit, and how we measured

In September 2026 we audited 79 US wedding-venue websites to see whether a couple, or an assistant, can find a price, a date and a way to book.

Most look maintained: the gap is answers and booking, not looks.

A case, not a rate

One venue's home page took 21.7 s to show on a phone. Google's "good" line is 2.5 s.

"Of 31 high-ticket business sites we tested in Sept 2026, AI assistants could read almost all, but the sites answered almost none of a buyer's questions."

How we measured

A live fetch of each site, audit notes coded by keyword, approximate (±5 rows). Blocked or unreachable sites were excluded, never scored on assumption. The sample isn't random, and no venue is named.

03What changes

Answered on your site, booked in two taps.

If your site doesn't answer, a listing or a marketplace does.

45% of US consumers used an AI tool to find a local business in the last year, up from 6%, and 88% still check before acting.

BrightLocal LCRS 2026, n=1,002, vendor studyClicks on searches that show an AI Overview fell from 19.7% to 6.3% (Seer Interactive, Jun 2024 to Sep 2025). People click a link 8% of the time with an AI summary, 15% without (Pew 2025).
04The value

Own the booking, not just the listing.

Couples still find you on the marketplaces. The booking can land on your own site.

Today: rented
  • Paying middlemen for couples you could book direct
  • Ad clicks that never book a tour
  • Hours answering “is our date free?” by hand
  • After-hours enquiries lost to voicemail and unread email
Nearly 1 in 3 of 79 US wedding-venue sites we audited had no enquiry form at all. Our audit · Sept 2026
With us: owned
  • Date checks and tours booked on your own site
  • Ads judged by booked tours, not clicks
  • Hours back from answering the same questions by hand
  • After-hours enquiries caught, with date, guests and budget
How we measure it

The free answer check maps your path from a couple’s first question to a paid deposit: where enquiries arrive, where they wait, and what each step costs you. Your numbers, not ours: we don’t quote savings we haven’t measured. In our September 2026 audit of 79 US wedding-venue websites, nearly 1 in 3 had no enquiry form at all: phone or email only. At 11 pm, that means a voicemail or an unread email.

We keep your marketplace profiles and align them with your site, so couples see the same facts everywhere and can book direct.

05Which door

Two doors, one outcome.

Either way: found, answered, booked.

What's included in each

If your site looks right, we add the answers and the booking path to it. If it's holding you back, we rebuild it. Either way: found, answered, booked.

Answer & Book Kit. In 5–7 working days, on the site you have: a booking path for dates and tours, a pricing and inclusions page, a real FAQ, structured data, and the same facts on your listings.

Launch System. Brand direction, a five-page site, online booking and 8–10 launch creatives in 8–10 working days, answer-ready from day one. Two revision rounds.

  • Want it measured? Found · Answered · Booked adds a local search pack and a before-and-after answer check at day 0 and day 90. Priced on scoping.
  • Care keeps it current from $1,000 a month, cancel any month.
  • See it before you pay: qualified venues get a working preview of their homepage first.
  • Not sure which door? The free answer check tells you, within two working days.
06Rules we follow

What we do, and what we won't.

  • No promised rankings, AI citations or booking numbers. We measure before and after.
The other five rules
  • You decide whether a price goes on your site. We recommend a range and what it includes.
  • You approve every listing edit before it goes live.
  • The Knot and your other listings stay. We align them with your site.
  • We never write reviews. Couples write them (FTC Part 465).
  • Your project is published only if you say yes, in writing.

Concept study, not a client project

Stonecrop Farm: the date checked in two taps.

It's a working site, not a picture of one.

About this study

A barn and orchard estate, one wedding a weekend, the date checked in two taps.

We invented this venue to show what a wedding site that answers and books can look like.

08Questions

Asked before a call.

Should I publish prices?
We recommend a range and what it includes, because price is the first thing couples ask. You decide what goes on the page. If you'd rather not show a range, a "from" line still answers the question.
Can couples check dates online?
Yes. We connect a date check to your calendar where your venue software allows it. Where it doesn't, couples see your open months and send a date request in two taps.
Do you replace The Knot?
No. Couples still browse marketplaces. We make your own site answer what they ask, and align your facts on The Knot and your other listings so every source says the same thing.
Which platforms do you work with?
WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Showit and Webflow. Others after a look.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If yours looks right but can't answer price, availability and next step, or can't book, the Answer & Book Kit fixes that on your current site.
Will this get me recommended by ChatGPT or Google's AI?
We can't promise it and nobody can. Assistants answer from what they can read and the listings they trust; we make both complete and consistent, then measure.
How much?
The kit is priced on scoping, the Launch System $3,000–$5,000, Found · Answered · Booked priced on scoping, care from $1,000 a month, all in USD.
