What we keep, and why.

This page explains what we collect when you contact us through this website, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. We collect as little as we can and we never sell it.

What we collect, and why

WhatWhat you type into the enquiry form: your name and email address, plus anything you choose to add (your role, budget, the outcome you want, what isn't working, your current website).
WhyTo reply to you and discuss your project. The legal basis is your request: you asked us to get in touch.
How long30 days in our website's own store. A copy goes into our client records, where it is kept while we're talking or working together and removed within 24 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask.
WhatA short, scrambled network tag made from your IP address. The tag changes every day and your IP address itself is not stored.
WhyTo spot spam and repeated abusive submissions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
How long30 days, with the enquiry it belongs to.
WhatAnonymous page-view counts, through Cloudflare Web Analytics.
WhyTo see which pages are useful. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
How longAggregated statistics only.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, advertising pixels or tracking across other websites. The one cookie this site sets comes from Cloudflare's bot protection (cf_clearance): it tells people apart from automated traffic, holds no profile of you, and isn't used for analytics or advertising. We don't buy lists, and we never sell or rent your details.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described here:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website, stores enquiries for 30 days, blocks attacks and provides the page-view counts.
  • Notion holds our client records, including a copy of each enquiry.
  • Google Workspace runs our email, so your messages and our replies pass through it.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, as happens on any site that uses Google Fonts.
  • Cal.com handles bookings if you choose to schedule a call. Anything you enter there is covered by Cal.com's privacy policy.

These providers are based in the United States and process data under their own data-protection terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@newcreativedesign.win from the address you contacted us with, and we'll act on it within one month. There's no charge.

If you're in the UK or the European Union and aren't happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your data-protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Security

Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection. If you've found a security problem on this site, see our security contact.

Changes

If we change what we collect or how long we keep it, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
